Radiofrequency [rf] testing

Description
Everlast Networks ran thorough tests covering wide-range corporate WiFi, and point-to-point WiFi links on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz in an ad-hoc field network setup. These trials examined how well data travelled, how stable the connections were, and how quickly they could handle traffic. A 1080p uncompressed video stream ran smoothly, and client-to-client commands got through without any data loss.
- Establishment time: 5 seconds
- Uplink saturation: 100%
- Latency: 1ms
- Distance: 4.2km (including hills and trees).

Description
Everlast Networks conducted a classified trial relying on 900MHz RF transmissions over a 7.1km stretch. The setup used a mobile-mounted Yagi antenna operating on an offline ad-hoc dark network. We aimed to assess connection quality, data reliability, and speed under realistic conditions. During the test, a 1080p uncompressed video stream ran without interruption, and client-to-client commands went through perfectly with no data loss.
We also tested a simulated fallback link using multiple frequencies. If the primary link was jammed or blocked, our keyed tunnel reconnected right away through the backup link, providing ongoing secure communications and heavy encryption of data in transit without notable delays. This approach proved that even under uncertain tactical conditions, connections could remain stable and responsive, and secure comms flowing.
- Establishment time: 6 seconds
- Uplink saturation: 100%
- Latency: 1ms
- Distance: 7.1km (including hills and trees).

Description
Everlast Networks carried out a trial using contained microwave and millimetre wave frequencies. The link was established over a long line-of-sight distance, and ran on a mobile-mounted directional antenna in an offline ad-hoc dark network. During the test, a 1080p uncompressed video stream ran smoothly, and client-to-client commands were transferred with no packet loss.
- Establishment time: 8 seconds
- Uplink saturation: 100%
- Latency: 2ms
- Distance: 𝑥 (including hills and trees).
